Televised games.

What is going on with Televised Rugby League games? Why are we forced to sit and watch the same 5 or 6 teams play every week? Yes there are occansional variations but for the most part we have to watch the Tigers, The Bulldogs, the Broncos and the Dragons play every week regardless of how they are doing in the comp. This year with the introduction of 3 games on free to air TV, I thought to myself "fantastic now they will show games from all the teams and give us some wider variety". But Forget that. Its still the same old teams week after week. How many games have the Storm had Televised this year? One maybe two? They are leading the comp. Now look at the amount of Tigers games we have seen 3 or 4? And they are barely winning, and certainly not in the top 8. When was the last time we saw a Televised Raiders game? And when was the last time the Raiders had a televised Friday night game? I cant remember. Surely WIN TV ACT can get the rights to the Raiders game and show them on Canberra Television? Ishouldnt have to fork out for Foxtel just so i can watch my team play every week. Lift your game NRL. Provide games for all the fans to watch.

Did you realise that 8 games out of the first 12 rounds for the Broncos are Friday night games. Plus they have this Sunday night (9), and im pretty sure their upcoming Sunday arvo match will also be televised. So that will be 10/12 televised games on Win. Cant remember if their game Vs NZ was the Sunday match either.. if thats the case only 1 game - 1 game will not be televised on free tv, Reason being - a Monday night match. Grozza must be happy - but he has foxtel the rest of us dont.

I should be happy thou, they are playing the Bunnies soon - i can watch them hopefully win for once.
