NRL match review committee chairman Greg McCallum has urged players not to make on-field allegations if they're not ready to follow through with a formal complaint.

North Queensland utility Sione Faumuina declined to make a statement on Monday after initially appearing to complain of being eye-gouged by Brisbane lock Tonie Carroll during Friday's Queensland derby at Suncorp Stadium.

Carroll was cleared over the incident and McCallum confirmed Faumuina had declined to lodge a complaint.


Anyone who has seen the footage knows this is a crock of shit. Tony Carroll is guilty as sin and deserves to be punished. He is nothing better than a thug. And while we are on crap overated players lets not forget Preston Campbell. He basically cost the Titans the game , dropping the ball several times in key field postions. Foregt the metres he made in broken play. His mistakes far outway the positives. the sooner the world realises Preston Campbell is overated the better.
