Dogs and Fireworks

Haha Funny Stuff.

Raiders Friday Night Game!!

I have just learned that the Raiders - Dragons game will be televised on Friday the 25th of May. A Friday night game for the Raiders!! About bloody time too.

Sharks V Tigers Rd 5

Tell you what, have you ever seen a more sloppy game of Rugby League? Excting but still very un impressive football. The Tigers were lucky the Sharks played worse than they did.Although that call by Hampstead in golden point time is one of the worst ref decsions i ahve ever seen. Having said that there were a few standouts, Paul Gallen and Greg Bird for the Sharks were particuarly impressive, and look dangerous everytime they touched the ball. And the Tigers Winger the No 5 (cant remember his name) is built like a tank. He made one run and beat 5 players. I have decided to add a player to my over-rated team. Brett Kimmorley. Managed to miss a field goal attempt in the dying seconds from right in front. Cost the Sharks several trys thru crap kicking. One of the most over hyped players in the modern game. Has basically done nothing ever since he left the Storm. He also managed to lose NSW a state of origin game by throwing a pass that went straight to Matt Bowen. Congratulations Brett Kimmorley, you are offically over-rated.

Over-rated team thus far: Sonny Bill Williams, Preston Campbell, Luke Patten, and Brett Kimmorley.

Televised games.

What is going on with Televised Rugby League games? Why are we forced to sit and watch the same 5 or 6 teams play every week? Yes there are occansional variations but for the most part we have to watch the Tigers, The Bulldogs, the Broncos and the Dragons play every week regardless of how they are doing in the comp. This year with the introduction of 3 games on free to air TV, I thought to myself "fantastic now they will show games from all the teams and give us some wider variety". But Forget that. Its still the same old teams week after week. How many games have the Storm had Televised this year? One maybe two? They are leading the comp. Now look at the amount of Tigers games we have seen 3 or 4? And they are barely winning, and certainly not in the top 8. When was the last time we saw a Televised Raiders game? And when was the last time the Raiders had a televised Friday night game? I cant remember. Surely WIN TV ACT can get the rights to the Raiders game and show them on Canberra Television? Ishouldnt have to fork out for Foxtel just so i can watch my team play every week. Lift your game NRL. Provide games for all the fans to watch.

Letter to 104.7

Fm 104.7 (the local radio station for non canberrans) are having a competition to see what makes you Hot and Cross, so basically you write in telling them things that piss you off. I entered this:

Dear 104.7,

What makes me hot and cross is that you say you are having ad-free 50's during the workday, but yet you advertise that its an ad-free 50 after every single song. Doesnt seem very ad free to me. What also makes me hot and cross is that currently on your station you seem to have a rotation of about 6 different songs that you play over and over again. What happened to the no repeat work day? or for that matter the rare no repeat work week? Thats what makes me hot and cross. You are Canberras no 1 radio station, i expect better and so does everyone else.

Liam

Think I'll win??
